Global Campus project picking up steam

CHICAGO – Forty-two students and counting.

One year into its creation, Global Campus is about four months behind schedule in terms of enrollment and income, University of Illinois officials said Thursday. But the pipeline of students is growing and marketing efforts are starting to pay off, said Chet Gardner, who oversees the UI's new virtual campus.
