A veteran of two wars, emeritus professor is as busy as ever

University of Illinois Professor emeritus Bob Henderson, 83, sands and repaints a wheelchair ramp at the Center for Women in Transition in Champaign.
He answers the phone in a no-nonsense, pleasant manner with a single word: "Henderson."
In those three syllables, you can hear Bob Henderson exude a get-it-done, positive attitude in spite of a few life experiences that could easily make his greeting darker.
