Educator exits retirement to become CMS director

Dianne Shepard is the new director of Campus Middle School in Urbana.
URBANA – Dianne Shepard doesn't much like sitting.
For 19 years, she liked teaching social studies and English to middle-schoolers in Mattoon.
For more years, she liked being a dean at Champaign Central High School, working one-to-one with students and their families.
