People mill about a busy food-tent area Saturday during the Taste of Champaign-Urbana at West Side Park in Champaign. The event's hours for its final day today are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
CHAMPAIGN – The economic downturn didn't sour the appetites of visitors at this year's Taste of Champaign-Urbana.
Opening night brought in about $45,000 in ticket sales, the second-best day in the event's history, said Executive Director Bobbie Herakovich.
