DANVILLE – The East Central Illinois Community Action Agency is only in its second year of hiring summer interns, but already its executive director can envision these young people coming back to Danville to work in the agency.

Molly Walton, 19, is attending Aurora University majoring in accounting, and Cassandra Carter, 19, attends Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville majoring in psychology. Both are in their second year of the summer program. It's the first year for Derius Hightower, 18. He will enter Eastern Illinois University this fall as a secondary education major.
