Some Champaign Public Library visitors complained that the white concrete squares in front of the new facility make a part of Clara Lane, an east-west street, look like a pedestrian plaza.

CHAMPAIGN – Champaign resident Bill Glithero told the Champaign City Council on Tuesday about his unpleasant surprise while exiting the new Champaign Public Library last week.
