Catholic Heart Workcamp 'changes kids' hearts'

CHAMPAIGN – They don't call it the Catholic Heart Workcamp for nothing.

There's hard, messy work involved, and no pay for those who do it – not a blessed cent – except the heartwarming feeling you get from helping somebody in need.

"It changes kids' hearts," said Mickey Nickrent, who has been running one of these camps in Champaign County this week for the first time.
