CHAMPAIGN – A small chemical spill stalled traffic at the Interstate 74 interchange with Prospect Avenue for about three hours Wednesday afternoon.
About 4 p.m. Wednesday, a tank of asphalt sealant fell from a truck in the northbound lanes on the Prospect overpass over I-74. The nonhazardous chemical spill blocked the northbound side of the road.
