Police use a protective screen to move residents away from a house near Clock and Roper streets in Champaign, where they were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Thursday. The residents were moved into the SWAT team truck for their protection.

CHAMPAIGN – Police are reopening East Roper Street and have not found the murder suspect they were seeking there.

Residents who had been evacuated in the morning were to be allowed back into their homes.
