Champaign police search for evidence near the corner of Chestnut and Garwood streets after a report of a van having its window shot out around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The shooting is the second in the last week for the north Champaign neighborhood. The SWAT team attempted to serve an arrest warrant that led to the closing of several streets and evacuation of some residents last Thursday.
