Urbana schools considering pay raise for substitutes

URBANA – It's not apples, but substitute teachers in Urbana schools might get a little something extra to take home this school year.
At the Urbana school district business meeting on Tuesday, the board will vote on a pay increase for the district's substitute teachers, from $75 to $85 per day, with $90 per day after 10 days worked in the district.
