Iroquois prosecutor upset man won't be extradited in death of Buckley teen in 2004

WATSEKA – Iroquois County's top prosecutor said he's disappointed that the Mexican government has decided not to return a man accused of killing a Buckley teen four years ago to this country for prosecution.

State's Attorney Jim Devine said he learned in early August from a Department of Justice attorney that Mexican authorities have decided not to allow the extradition of Fernando Nunez, 24.
