Downtown Danville building renovation begins to take shape

An architect's rendering of how the building at 125 N. Vermilion St. in Danville will look once it has been renovated and restored.

DANVILLE – Four years ago, Don and Marie Pribble officially made downtown Danville their home, moving into a modernized, fully restored upper-story apartment above their business, the Java Hut.

A few others have done the same since then, and now, another upper-story development project is beginning to gain steam downtown as developer George Gill of Canada is moving forward with plans to restore his recently purchased building at 125 N. Vermilion St., just one block north of the Pribbles' home and business.
