Judge to hear update on Champaign schools' consent decree

PEORIA – The judge overseeing the Champaign school district's consent-decree case will hold a status conference Wednesday to discuss the progress toward meeting the goals of the decree.
The conference at the U.S. District Court in Peoria will be held in Judge Joe Billy McDade's chambers and is closed to the public.
