Couple's essay contest to give away home gets little interest

DANVILLE – When Erica Butler learned of an online essay contest to win a house at 621 N. Collett St., she was more than intrigued.
She went to the contest Web site, paid her $100 entry fee and then wrote what she hoped would be the winning entry.
