Former Homeland Security deputy secretary to speak at UI

Former Adm. James M. Loy, senior counselor at Washington, D.C.- based The Cohen Group and former Deputy Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security, will address the University of Illinois College of Law on Thursday.
Loy will present the annual Vacketta-DLA Piper Lecture on the Role of Government and the Law at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Max L. Rowe Auditorium at the University of Illinois College of Law, 504 E. Pennsylvania Ave., C.
