Garage, truck total loss in Champaign fire

Champaign firefighters work to extinguish a structure fire Tuesday at 311 E. Washington St., C. The dramatic fire sent a plume of black smoke across north Champaign. Acetylene tanks and the fuel tank of a truck parked inside fed the fire.
CHAMPAIGN – A garage and the truck inside it in the 300 block of East Washington Street was a total loss after a fire late Tuesday afternoon.
