Valleybrook South Drive residents oppose street name change

Dana Kennedy holds her 3-year-old daughter, Claire, at the front door of their home Tuesday at 2802 Valleybrook South Drive in Champaign. Kennedy is not in favor of changing the name of the street, as Champaign city officials are considering.
CHAMPAIGN – Valleybrook South Drive residents in southwest Champaign could soon be getting a new street name.
Hint: Think minty freshness.
Wintergreen Drive is the new name the city's staff is recommending for Valleybrook South Drive, a winding boulevard that is often confused with the street immediately north of it, Valley Brook Drive. Windsor Road separates the two streets.
