Motorcyclist injured in accident with car on Kirby Avenue

Tow-truck operator Brandy Hill of Tatman's Towing and Champaign police Officer Doug Kimme look over a motorcycle damaged in an accident Friday afternoon on Kirby Avenue between Cambridge and Waverly drives in Champaign. The accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. The motorcycle driver was injured and taken to the hospital.

CHAMPAIGN – A 17-year-old was injured Friday afternoon after his motorcycle struck the back of a car that was stopped on Kirby Avenue.

Police were called out at 2:09 p.m. Friday to Kirby Avenue between Cambridge Drive and Waverly Drive.
