17-year-old motorcyclist hurt in accident with car on Kirby

Tatman's Towing employee Brandy Hill and Champaign police Officer Doug Kimme look over a motorcycle that was damaged in an accident Friday afternoon on Kirby Avenue between Cambridge Drive and Waverly Drive in Champaign. The motorcycle driver was injured and taken to the hospital.

CHAMPAIGN – A 17-year-old was injured Friday afternoon after his motorcycle struck the back of a car that was stopped on Kirby Avenue

Police were called out at 2:09 p.m. Friday to Kirby Avenue between Cambridge Drive and Waverly Drive, near Carrie Busey Elementary School.
