CHAMPAIGN – The Champaign school board will revisit its decision to remove the novel "The Kite Runner" from use in a sophomore honors English class.
On Oct. 27, the board voted 5-2 against using the book for sophomores. It had been assigned as summer reading, and a parent objected to its use for sophomores because of a scene in the book in which a boy is raped by bullies.
