Champaign county judge named to Supreme Court panel

SPRINGFIELD – A Champaign County judge has been appointed to an Illinois Supreme Court committee to try to make Illinois' evidence laws make more sense.
Judge Heidi Ladd is one of 18 members appointed earlier this month to a panel on Illinois evidence by Chief Justice Thomas Fitzgerald. Others include judges, lawyers, law professors and state legislators.
