Champaign County Web site recognized for openness

The site at www.co.champaign.il.us, whose home page is shown here, has been deemed second only to DuPage County in openness in the state by the Sunshine Review.
Champaign County has the second-best county Web site in Illinois for openness, a watchdog group says.
Only suburban DuPage County, which is much bigger than Champaign, has more information available to citizens on the Web, said Isabel Santa of Sunshine Review.
