Former Governor Edgar calls on Blagojevich to step down

URBANA – Former Gov. Jim Edgar today called on Rod Blagojevich to step down and said the charges against the current governor are unprecedented even in a state with a history of political corruption.

Blagojevich has a serious problem with public trust and "I don't think he's going to be able to govern this state," Edgar said.
