Residents' complaints about trash addressed

Residents and employees of Scottswood Manor Apartments in Urbana load a large garbage bin with debris in the 1300 block of Lierman Avenue on Tuesday. Debris from vacant apartments accumulated in the parking lot and then became lodged in ice before it could be removed Tuesday.
URBANA – It was about two weeks ago when the garbage showed up.
Nasty stuff – carpets and carpet pads, ripped mattresses, tipped-over couches – piled up in the middle of a Scottswood Manor Apartments parking lot in the 1200 and 1300 block of Lierman Avenue, Urbana.
