Area stations' digital test stirs up those still getting analog

If you are receiving television signals over the air, you will need one of these boxes when the switch to digital signals takes place in February. Cable and satellite users won't need one if the system works as intended.

For those trying to ignore the fact that the conversion to digital TV is coming, Monday night provided a wake-up call.

All area broadcast stations participated in a test to remind viewers that if they're not ready for the switch, they had better be soon.
