Champaign students prepare for Advanced Placement work

CHAMPAIGN – It may be summer, but Myha Brown is spending her mornings in the classroom, getting a head start on the Advanced Placement history class she'll take this fall.

The Centennial junior is participating in a new program to help juniors and seniors from Central and Centennial high schools in Champaign prepare for AP classes. Brown said the class is helping her better understand the summer reading assignment.
