Sewer work to close part of Washington Street

CHAMPAIGN — Work on the Washington Street watershed storm sewer improvements will continue in June with storm sewer installation in the 700 block of West Washington Street followed by pavement restoration.
To complete these improvements, Washington Street will be closed to through traffic between Prospect Avenue and Lynn Street until 4:30 p.m. June 24.
Local traffic will have access to drives at all times.
