Still time to vote for Humane Society in web contest
There's less than a week left to vote for the Champaign County Humane Society to win a website makeover.
The group is a finalist in a web contest sponsored byLRS Web Solutions of Springfield.
The winner gets a makeover of its website by the company valued at $10,000.
Humane Society Executive Director Mary Tiefenbrunn says her group has undertaken quite a campaign to get the word out.

As on Monday morning, the humane society is in first place in the contest, garnering nearly 40% of the votes among the 10 finalists. The next closest finalist is ARC Community Support Systems, with around 22% of the votes.
If you want to vote for the humane society in the contest, you can log on to the LRS Web Solutions website.
The deadline to vote is Oct. 30, and the winner will be announced on Nov. 1.
