Ex-minister reprising Great Emancipator role for event
MAHOMET – Warts and all, Steve Shoemaker still believes Abraham Lincoln is head and shoulders above the political crowd.
The retired minister and former director of the University YMCA will play the president on his 200th birthday, Feb. 12, at a party at the Early American Museum in Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve.
