Elliott Road resurfacing could start in next six weeks

PAXTON – Resurfacing four miles of blacktop known as the Elliott Road, between Illinois 9 and the Champaign County line could begin within the next six weeks, according to Ford County Highway Engineer Greg Perkinson.

County board members approved spending $210,000 of motor fuel tax monies to help fund the project's total cost of nearly $600,000.
