Danville council to replace bridge with at-grade crossing

DANVILLE – City council members approved an agreement Tuesday to remove a bridge on Voorhees Street.

Inspectors imposed weight restrictions last year on the bridge, which carries Voorhees Street over the Norfolk Southern Railway just east of Springhill Cemetery.
