Center lane of Springfield Avenue to be closed for water work

CHAMPAIGN — The center turn lane of Springfield Avenue will be closed just east of Sixth Street this week.
Illinois American Water spokesman Ronald Hartke said the lane will be closed beginning Monday while work crews repair a water valve.
The lane is expected to reopen by Friday.
