Construction work planned this week on Green Street

CHAMPAIGN — People who drive on Green Street in Champaign can anticipate some delays this week.
Illinois American Water spokesman Ronald Hartke said a westbound lane of Green Street will be closed around the northwest corner of Green Street and Prairie Street beginning Monday. Westbound traffic will be directed to the center lane during the project, which is expected to last through Friday.
Hartke said the lane will be closed while construction workers complete a valve repair.
