Lane closures planned this week on Prospect Avenue
CHAMPAIGN — Drivers who frequently use Prospect Avenue can expect one lane to be closed at two different locations for three days later this week.
Illinois American Water spokesman Ronald Hartke said a southbound lane of Prospect Avenue will be closed at Harvard Street beginning Wednesday while workers complete a valve repair at the southwest corner of Prospect and Harvard.
Hartke said southbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane in the area through Friday, weather permitting.
In addition, a northbound lane of Prospect Avenue will be closed at Church Street beginning Wednesday while workers complete a valve repair at the southeast corner of Prospect and Church.
