Sewer work to affect traffic on Prospect Avenue

CHAMPAIGN — Traffic on Prospect Avenue in Champaign will be reduced on Thursday and Friday for sanitary sewer boring.

One southbound lane of Prospect will be closed between Baytowne Drive and Marketview Drive beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday to assist with the boring of sanitary sewer service for 1902 N. Prospect.

The lane will be closed as needed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday and will be reopened overnight.

why not do this work at night to disrupt the motoring public less?

According to your logic, the workers either a) don't have families during the day when they'd be at home, or b) their families don't sleep at night when the workers would be SLEEPING. Your comment made absolutely no sense. We'll all give you another try to make it right and redeem yourself.
