Lane closures planned in Urbana for pavement testing

URBANA — Periodic lane closures are planned over the next two weeks on five Urbana streets for pavement testing.
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday on the following streets:
— Race Street between Michigan Avenue and Washington Street.
— Washington between Race and Walnut Street.
— Broadway Avenue between Washington and Illinois Street.
— Illinois between Orchard Street and Race.
— Lincoln Avenue from south of Killarney Street to Wilbur Road.
Periodic lane closures are planned during daylight hours, and no parking will be allowed along the edge of the street at select locations.
The work is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 2.
