UI conference explores diversity
The University of Illinois reaffirmed its commitment to diversity and dialogue on campus Thursday at a conference that touched on everything from student activism to race relations.
Chancellor Richard Herman told an audience of faculty, staff and students in the Illini Union that the campus has made progress, "but there is still much to be done."
