Heat advisory in effect until 6 p.m. Friday

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for central Illinois effective from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.
The following counties are included in the advisory: Champaign, Vermilion, Douglas, Edgar, Coles, Moultrie, Shelby, Piatt, Macon, DeWitt, and McLean.
Ford and Iroquois counties are under a separate heat advisory that extends until 7 p.m. Friday.
