Frost advisory for early Sunday

Might want to cover any plants you want to last through the fall.

The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a frost advisory, effective from 2 to 8 a.m. Sunday. Clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures to drop rapidly after sunset with overnight temperatures expected to drop into the mid to upper 30s. Low-lying spots may even dip into the lower 30s.

An advisory means that frost is possible and sensitive outdoor plants could be killed if left uncovered.
