Weather Service forecasts hazardous travel conditions for area

The National Weather Service reports that freezing drizzle has developed across portions of central Illinois.
Light snow is expected to develop in many areas overnight as well, contributing to hazardous travel conditions.
Affected areas include Champaign, DeWitt, McLean, Piatt and Vermilion counties.
Drivers who are traveling tonight are asked to be prepared for icy and slippery roads, to slow down and to use their defensive-driving skills.
