The National Weather service has issued several flood advisories for East Central Illinois.

A flood warning is in effect for the Sangamon River at Monticello from Wednesday through Saturday.

A flood advisory is in effect for the Sugar Creek at Milford from now until Thursday morning.

A flash flood watch in in effect for DeWitt County from Wednesday night through Thursday night.

A flash flood watch is in effect for the following counties from Thursday morning through Friday morning:  Piatt, Champaign, Vermilion, Macon, Moultrie, Douglas, Coles, Edgar, Shelby.

So if you come upon a flooded roadway, turn around and find another route.  And if you have any outdoor items near water, bring them inside so they don't get swept away.
