Dear Suzanne and Family - I am sorry for your loss. I read your mother's bio and you all must be so proud. I spent many summers in Champaign-Urbana and I have relatives who still live down there. It provided me with many happy memories and I can relate to much of what your mom was involved in. Please accept my condolences, Suzanne. May your memories and your loved ones give you comfort. Dear Acheson's~Jill was such an amazing lady! She was so much a part of the "Clark Street Family" while our children were growing up & my sons loved her! She was fun, kind, caring and generous. In the early years, she taught me a lot about antiques & was always so excited by a new find! Following my divorce from Jimmy, many years later, she & Jim were so incredibly kind and generous to me~something that touched me deeply and I will never forget. I loved her and am so saddened by her loss. All my sympathy, big hugs & much love to each & every one of you. Mary Ellen Fallon
I am so sorry and very saddened to hear of Mrs. A's passing. I have such fond memories of growing up across the street from you all. Mrs. A taught me how to do latchhook, cross stitch, how to make extravagent (yet easy) appetizers, AND poached eggs on patty shells. Her patience and her humor guided all the Clark kids on their journey to adulthood and I will NEVER EVER forget her. Her impact on my life and my family will forever be a blessing.
I love you all and you are all in my prayers.
Lots of blessings,
Sharyn Washburn Gilmore
