I would like to offer my sympathies on the passing of Mrs. Shelton. She was a music teacher to me at Villa Grove. She was very influential in my decision to keep up my piano lessons. I also attend the First Baptist Church of Tolono and played the piano/organ for 30 years. I was probably about 15 when I first played the piano at church and then when my uncle got married at our church, his father-in-law purchased an organ to be played at their wedding, which I did, and was the organist from then on. My church is in the same association as Temple and my dad was also acquainted with Mrs. Shelton. She directed the choir at the annual associational meetings. I have often wondered what became of Mrs. Shelton. Again, I offer my deepest condolences to your family. Joyce Hubbart
