Anna D. Schroeder 103, of Gibson City died Monday (April 21, 2008) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City.

Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, with the Rev. Stephen Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Anchor. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lamb Funeral Home, 303 North Church St., Gibson City, and for one hour before the service at the church Thursday.

Mrs. Schroeder was born January 18, 1905, in Anchor, a daughter of Martin and Jesse (Heins) Klintworth. She married Alfred Schroeder on January 20, 1926, in rural Anchor. He died January 6, 1989. Surviving are one son, Robert Schroeder of Fisher; one daughter, Virginia (Robert) Winterland of Colfax; two grandchildren, Darrell (Caroline) Winterland and Keith Winterland, both of Colfax; two great-grandchildren, Lisa (Todd) Jumper of O'Fallon, Mo., and Carrie (Bill) Hoffman of Normal; and four great- great-grandchildren, Christopher and Emily Jumper and Nathaniel amd Kylee Hoffman. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Schroeder was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, the church's Dorcas Society and the Garber Friendship Club. Memorials may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church Organ Fund or Window Fund, Gibson Area Community Hospital or Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City.
