SAVOY – Lois M. Brownfield, 86, of Savoy died at 9:03 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 10, 2012) at the Champaign-Urbana Regional Rehab Center, Savoy.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Stearns Cemetery, Fithian.
Lois was born Oct. 25, 1926, in Sidney, the daughter of Elmer and Olive Cooper Cox; she married Marion M. Brownfield on April 11, 1946, in Champaign.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Harris and Claudia Chaney, both of Champaign; one brother, Willard Cox of Ogden; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Marc Brownfield; one daughter, Sherry Jones; one brother, Wayne Cox; and one sister, Delores Weber.
Lois retired as a secretary at the University of Illinois.
