GIBSON CITY – Ella Burl Hubner, 91, of Gibson City passed away on Monday (Nov. 26, 2012) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Gibson City, surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Lamb Funeral Home in Gibson City. Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Lamb Funeral Home, with burial following at Lyman Township Cemetery in Roberts.
She was born on Nov. 17, 1921, to the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Hettie (Good) Ballard in Stockland Township, Ill. She married George (Ed) Hubner on Feb. 10, 1941, in Melvin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George (Ed) Hubner Sr.; brother, Forrest Calvin Ballard; sisters, Etta Grady and Madeline Wallace; sons, John Hubner, Boots Hubner and Howard Hubner; and great-granddaughter, Lacey Hubner.
Survivors include her son, George (Cheri) Hubner of Roaring Springs, Texas; daughters, Carol Johnson of Gibson City, Hilda Doyle of Gibson City, Peggy Hubner of Delavan and Anita Hubner of Gibson City; grandchildren, Leisa Swan, Angie McCoy, Tina Moore, Rea Sparks, Chuck Bukowski, Robert Beck, Brian Bukowski, Kevin Hubner, Dawn Bukowski, Paula Sanchez, Eddie Hubner, Kimberly Thomas, Joli Hubner, Jason Hubner, Kim Gardner, Lee Beach, Melissa Hubner and Amanda Hubner; 38 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She loved being with her family and enjoyed sewing, embroidering, reading and dancing.

She was loved and be missed by all.
