BALD KNOB, Ark. – Eula B. Skinner, 91, of Bald Knob, Ark., passed away at 4:50 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 2, 2012) at her son's residence in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Crusaders Church in Urbana. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. The Rev. Richard Jones and the Rev. Marsh Jones will officiate. Burial will be held in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.
Mrs. Skinner was born Dec. 30, 1920, in Alicia, Ark., a daughter of John William and Cora Frances (England) Dunn. She married Clarence H. Skinner on July 22, 1939, in Caraway, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2002.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Skinner, and wife Karen of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Chad Skinner (Ruthie), Kimberly Skinner Sayler (Jeremy) and Geoffrey Skinner (Andrea); and four great-grandchildren, Emma, Zachary, Joshua and Victoria. A brother, Charles Dunn, and a sister, Mary Dunn, both of Manila, Ark., also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister and a brother.
Mrs. Skinner attended schools in Hopewell and Hoxie, Ark. She was a member of the Church of God in Bald Knob, Ark., and she enjoyed quilt-making.
