URBANA – Wanda Marie Collins, 89, of Urbana died at 8:59 p.m. Monday (Dec. 31, 2012) at home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana; J.P. Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Urbana.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Collins was born on June 5, 1923. She married Hubert Collins Sr. on Dec. 19, 1939, in Covington, Ind. He died on Jan. 10, 2000.
Survivors include one son, Terry (Julie) Collins of Urbana; two daughters-in-law, Mary Collins of Ogden and Lucinda Collins of Urbana; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet; two sons, Hubert B. Collins and Dennis Collins; and two sisters, Marge Pepper and Gladys O'Donnel.
Through the years, she loved spending her time playing bingo and cards, reading, sewing, crocheting, working puzzle books and putting puzzles together.
Most of all, she loved family time, especially the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her favorite movie was "Gone With The Wind," which she could not have watched enough.
