CHAMPAIGN – Emily Dawn (Royse) Davis, 34, of Champaign left this life at 7:06 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center Champaign-Urbana Chapel, 710 N. Neil St., C. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Friday) at the chapel. Pastor Steve Wingert will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Champaign.

Emily was born July 25, 1978, in Olney, the daughter of Ivan Royse and Lisa Parnell; they both survive.
Survivors also include two daughters, Julia Dynnae and Taylor Jordan Davis, and a son, Ezekiel Woods, all at home in Champaign; her paternal grandparents, Ernest and Alma Royse of Olney; her maternal grandparents, Rex and Millie Parnell of Olney; a brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Jackie Royse, and their son, Braden, all of St. Peters, Mo.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Emily worked as a pharmacy technician for Walgreen's. She attended First Christian Church in Savoy.
She was a great cook and her greatest love in life was spending time with her children, family and friends.
